Friday was a huge day for school spirit at Bella Vista, with the entire student body rallying behind our football teams en route to major victories against the cross-town rival Casa Roble Rams!
Things kicked off early on Friday morning as BV was visited by KCRA 3 News, one of the most prominent broadcasting stations in the Sacramento area. The football team, rowdy rooters, cheerleaders, marching band, color guard, student government, and Bella Vista coaches/staff all showed up and showed out early in the morning to set the mood for what would be a huge day for our school. KCRA 3 filmed multiple segments featuring all aspects of the student body, and those were aired live that morning and replayed later in the day multiple times, as well as posted on social media.
Then, student government put on our first rally of the school year to hype up students for the game, featuring a Bronco vs. Ram wrestling match, rally games, and a teacher performance!
And of course, our football teams were able to string together some impressive victories against the Rams. The JV team was able to put together a scrappy 6-0 victory before the Varsity put together an unforgettable performance that culminated in a 48-9 victory under the Friday Night Lights. The rowdy rooters, cheerleaders, band, and fans were rocking all game long as big play after big play unfolded. Congratulations to the football team and everybody else involved in this year's Cowbell Classic!
