Bella Vista's homecoming football game on September 25 was a night to remember! The parade, fitting the theme “Destination: Homecoming”, kicked off the night. The seniors’ float won the competition for Best Float with their New York theme. The other classes’ floats featured elements of the cities of New Orleans, Honolulu, and Las Vegas.

At halftime, our amazing cheer team and marching band took the field. The cheer team performed impressive stunts; and the marching band entertained the crowd with their music.

The student section was roaring with cheers and BV spirit! Students were ready and dressed up for the occasion, “Greek Isles”. Many of the students took the opportunity to put on Greek togas for the occasion. They filled the stands full of enthusiasm as the Broncos took on Vista Del Lago. The final score was 34 - 21, and Bella Vista celebrated an exciting Homecoming victory.

Our football team ended up improving to 3-1 on the season (which is now 4-1 after their 36-35 victory against Antelope on 10/2). Senior running back Dvaughn Norwood produced another stellar performance, racking up 231 rushing yards and punching in 3 touchdowns during the game. Tight end Christian Taylor also continued his productive season, scoring another touchdown for the Broncos.

Overall, Homecoming was undoubtedly a success this year at BV, with an incredible parade, performances, football game, culminating in a night of fun at the actual homecoming dance.
